MINNEAPOLIS. June 26, 2008—The 155th Annual Meeting of the Minnesota Medical Association will be held September 17-19 in St. Paul.


Slate of nominees for MMA offices announced

MINNEAPOLIS, July 17, 2008— The list of nominees seeking to serve as officers of the Minnesota Medical Association and delegates to the American Medical Association has been announced.


MMAA silent auction to be called "Market Square"

MINNEAPOLIS, July 15, 2008—The MMA Alliance will be holding a silent auction just prior to the MMA inaugural dinner Thursday evening, September 17. The silent auction will go by the name “Market Square.”


MMA sends Action Alert! about looming Medicare payment cut

MINNEAPOLIS, June 12, 2008 - The MMA sent an Action Alert! to its members Tuesday urging them to contact Senators Norm Coleman and Amy Klobuchar and ask them  to stop the drastic cut that goes into effect July 1 by supporting the bill, S. 3101.

MINNEAPOLIS, November 14, 2007—Fargo-based psychiatric health care organization Prairie St. John's announced today that it has proposed building a 96-bed psychiatric hospital in Woodbury.

Alert: Medicare starting to reject claims with NPI discrepancies

MINNEAPOLIS, September 14, 2007 — The AMA is alerting physicians that Medicare must be able to match a physician's appropriate PIN to his or her correct National Provider Identifier (NPI) and may reject claims if a match cannot be made.
