St. Paul Radiology is unanimous on Health Care Access Fund
MINNEAPOLIS, March 17, 2008—Friday, the Minnesota Medical Association received this letter from St. Paul Radiology, PA, about Gov. Pawlenty's appropriation of Health Care Access Fund money:
Dear MMA,
On behalf of my physician partners at St. Paul Radiology PA, we would like to inform the MMA staff that on Friday March 14, a coordinated effort was made within our practice which allowed every single one of St. Paul Radiology's 83 MN resident physicians to write their legislators and the Governor on the issue of the planned inappropriate use of the Health Care Access Fund to balance the general budget.
We respectfully extend a collegial challenge to our many Minnesota physicians of all specialties to mount a similar coordinated 100 percent practice effort to speak out as one voice on this very important issue for the uninsured in Minnesota.
