Private/Non-Government Sites
Healthcare information provided by leading medical associations, including the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a number of other organizations
A site created by trusted sources like Harvard Medical School and the University of Pennsylvania Dental School with patient information on a variety of illnesses and conditions
Health information from Mayo Clinic physicians and researchers
When viewing non-governmental web sites, make sure to look for the site's committment to fulfill the "Health on the Net Code of Conduct" (HONcode). You should also make sure that the site is committed to maintaining your personal privacy.
