Mary’s Place Minute Clinic is a free, walk-in clinic for the residents of Mary’s Place, our transitional housing shelter. The goal of the clinic is to provide low barrier, high quality medical care and referral services to families while they are with us. Having an on-site, walk-in clinic reduces ER visits and provides convenient, prompt medical attention to meet the short term needs of families who are in crisis and facing many challenges. Coordinating care with full-service community clinics in the area ensures that families have an established medical home when they leave our facility.
Mary’s Place Minute Clinic is not a full-service clinic. Volunteer doctors and nurse practitioners provide in-person treatment for minor, non-emergent illnesses and injuries and coordinate care for chronic and complex conditions. Patients are a mix of children and adults. Referrals are made to local community clinics for treatment of chronic/complex conditions, physicals and wellness checks, specialist care, labs, and imaging.
PPE is provided. Basic medical equipment is provided.
