The Minnesota Rare Disease Advisory Council advocates for the one in 10 Minnesotans affected by rare diseases. Our mission is to provide advice on research, diagnosis, treatment, and education related to rare diseases.

MEDPAC is the political arm of the MMA, enabling physicians to directly impact the political atmosphere at the Minnesota State Capitol. MEDPAC works to elect candidates who support the MMA's policy positions and will support the MMA's legislative priorities. Endorsements and contributions are decided by a Board of Trustees made up of physicians and physicians-in-training from around the state, of all specialties, and from across the political spectrum.
