Emerging Topics in Healthcare, Health Equity and Well-Being

Join your colleagues for MMA’s monthly Physician Forums – opportunities to stay updated on the latest news, information, and resources on important topics affecting the practice of medicine.  
 
Each forum will begin with a short presentation, with open discussion to follow. In this series, you will hear from experts on a variety of topics and engage with your peers from across the state of Minnesota. 
 
Members have free access to these forums; non-members will be charged a fee of $20. 
 
Once you have completed the registration process, you will receive a receipt email from mma@mnmed.org. The Zoom meeting link will be included in that email.

Description: In this interactive session, participants will learn how to effectively communicate with their legislators and advocate for the issues that matter most to them. Whether you’re new to advocacy or looking to refine your skills, this session will provide practical tools and strategies for engaging with lawmakers, building meaningful relationships, and influencing policy decisions.

• Best practices for writing effective emails, making phone calls, and scheduling face-to-face meetings
