At this week’s AMA Annual Meeting in Chicago, Minnesota’s delegation at the House of Delegates (HOD) submitted resolutions on supervised injection facilities, the creation of an ICD code for patients presenting with conditions related to racism; and revising the U.S. Standard Certificate of Death.

Beginning June 27, DEA license holders, upon initial registration or renewal, will be required to complete at least eight hours of training in the treatment or management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders.
